* The pirate studios discounts and free studio credit are currently only available to new students who haven’t previously created an account and booked a session at pirate studios.

You can use referral code ‘ALEC256563‘ when creating an account at Pirate.com which will give you £10 of free studio credit. The credit will be available in your account immediately to use on your first booking.

Students must create an account and book the studio themselves to use the referral code. If you’d like to use the discounts, select ‘Book the Studio Yourself’ as the ‘Studio Type’ when purchasing any lessons. With this option, you’ll only pay for the lesson at checkout, and you’ll pay for the discounted studio hire separately on the pirate studios website.

While all tutors will be able to cover all the essential concepts of DJing in their lessons, tutors may offer slightly different content, with each tutor bringing their own individual knowledge, experience, methods and style to the table. We hope this will allow you to find the perfect match to suit your needs.

Our tutors are responsible for deciding their own hourly rates and travel fees depending on travel time and costs associated with travelling to in person lessons. Please view each tutor’s profile for individual pricing.

Please note: Studio hire will be an additional cost for lessons at pirate studios and is included in the price of lessons purchased on our website, unless choosing ‘Book The Studio Yourself’ as the ‘Studio Type’ when purchasing in person lessons at pirate studios.

A registered user using our platform to find online tutors made available by Kaiyo Sonics (“Student”)

A registered user providing online tutoring services on Kaiyo Sonics website (“Tutor”)

An unregistered visitor to the site, including but not limited to the Kaiyo Sonics Blog.

We might refer to all three types of users mentioned above as “Users”

You hereby acknowledge and agree that Kaiyo Sonics is not a party to agreements between Students and Tutors. Both Tutors and Students are independent users not formally affiliated with Kaiyo Sonics. Kaiyo Sonics isn’t a music school, tutor service or agent. Kaiyo Sonics has no control over the behaviour and conduct of Tutors, Students, or any other user of the Kaiyo Sonics website.

If you decide to teach with Kaiyo Sonics, you hereby agree and acknowledge that you accept the tutor policy and that your relationship with Kaiyo Sonics is limited to being a registered user of the platform and an independent, third-party tutoring service provider and not an employee or partner of Kaiyo Sonics for any reason. You act solely on your behalf and for your own benefit and do not represent Kaiyo Sonics or act on behalf of Kaiyo Sonics. While we do our best to ensure a safe, high-quality and friendly experience for all users, Kaiyo Sonics does not control and has no right to control your information, your activities associated with your profile or listed lesson types (services), or any other matters related to any services that you provide. As an independent tutor on our website, you agree to take a full responsibility for observing and abiding by your local tax and social security regulations.

Tutors can set their own prices, availability, and promote their experience, services, and capabilities, and connect and engage with Students to provide music tutoring services.

To eliminate misinterpretation, Kaiyo Sonics is an intermediary marketplace that facilitates the connection between Tutors and Students for music learning purposes. Kaiyo Sonics isn’t a music school and does not partake in direct interactions between users. Both Tutors and Students are independent users of the Site and Applications.
