Welcome, Overview and Future Plans

I just wanted to write this post to welcome everyone to my site, give an overview of what’s currently available and also an update on what’s in the works for future content.

So first of all, welcome! I really appreciate anyone and everyone taking the time to visit my site and I hope you’re able to take a lot of value from the content, tutorials, lessons and courses I will be providing.

For those that don’t already know, my name’s Alec (Kaiyo). I’m currently based in London after moving over from Sydney in 2019 and have been DJing for around 10 years now. This video will tell you a little more about myself and the lessons I’m offering.

I decided to launch with the DJ lessons while I work on the content for future tutorials and DJ courses. At the moment there are two main options for the lessons; online and in person.

Online lessons are available worldwide and will be run via video call on zoom. As long as you have a stable internet connection, you’re good to go! In person lessons are only available in London and will be run at pirate studios, providing the opportunity to practice on professional, club-standard equipment.

Both types of lessons are available as 1:1 or group sessions and will be fully personalised to meet your specific needs. Lesson info will provide you with all you need to know about the different options, what’s included, what you’ll learn, how you’ll learn, and what you’ll need.

What’s in store? The three main projects I’m currently working on are my DJing eBook, online step-by-step DJ courses, and content for free YouTube tutorials.

The eBook will serve as a handy reference guide in written form, along with illustrations explaining all the essential concepts and techniques behind DJing. The eBook will be available in the shop or free with any lesson or course.

The online DJ courses will combine all aspects of my content into a simple, step-by-step process for you to easily follow along. You’ll be able to access the courses from any device and work at your own pace, learning all things from beatmatching to blending and everything in between. The courses will be broken down by experience level and genre so you can pick whatever’s most relevant to you. There’ll also be options to add on lessons if you want to put what you’ve learnt into practice or require some extra feedback and support along the way.

Finally, I’m also working on content for YouTube to allow everyone access to free tutorials. These will be helpful for anyone just looking to learn about a specific topic rather than working through a whole course. This channel will also provide an opportunity to receive feedback and requests for new content so I can make sure I’m covering everything you guys are in need of.

That’s about it from me for now…

Stay tuned for new content and I hope you enjoy the lessons, courses or tutorials in the future!

Peace!
